Then you go into arma-multiplayer and host a game locally (Lan instead of Internet on the frist page where you also setup the password) It then should work. Your friends can find it under the Lan-games. We played 4 guys, and didn't experince any dc's or lag by using it. Arma 3 is a Steam platform exclusive game and can be bought on the Arma 3 Steam page.
